About Us
Tailwaggerz was started in 2006 by Adam Jones. After 20 years in the corporate world, he decided to leave it all behind and follow his passion of working with animals. For the past eleven years Adam has volunteered in shelters, fostered homeless pets, assisted in daycare facilities, taught obedience, learned pet first aid, and promoted strong animal advocacy in the community. Adam is Pet Tech pet first aid certified, a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the Colorado Dog Trainers Network, Pet Sitters International and the Denver Metro Pet Sitters group. He likes dog hikes, play groups, laser tag & feather fishin’ with cats, and teaching new pet parents old dog tricks.
Diane Clayton joined Tailwaggerz in 2010 and has a natural compassionate understanding of animals. She brings a high level of energy & enthusiasm to the Tailwaggerz crew. Her extensive customer service background enables her to excel at understanding the needs of both pets and their people. Whether it’s hiking and playing with a group of dogs, brushing a cat on her lap on a snowy day, soothing an old dog as they take their meds, or going on ‘poop patrol’- Diane does it all with a positive attitude and the pets really enjoy her visits.
The Tailwaggerz crew strives for excellence in quality pet care, nutritional education, training, and community awareness. Our mission at Tailwaggerz is to love and care for your pets the way you do and treat them as our own. We look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
*Tailwaggerz is a member of Pet Sitters International a global professional pet sitting organization, and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers a professional dog trainers network that promotes positive dog training world wide.
Community Outreach
Tailwaggerz has been involved with many animal advocacy groups over the past ten years, including the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, Colorado Humane Society, Utah Animal Adoption Center, No More Homeless Pets in Utah, Denver Dumb Friends League, MaxFund, Evergreen Animal Protection League, Good Samaritan Pet Adoption Center, Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, and the SPCA.
We continue to support local rescue efforts and do our best to bring a better understanding of pet stewardship to the community. We work in cooperation with local area veterinary services, groomers, pet nutritionists, dog trainers, and pet sitters to make a happier, healthier, and fun world for our pets.
